Emma Mason

emmafull_opingEmma joined Cohen Cramer in 1999. She is the head of the Serious Injury Team which reflects her vast experience in acting for clients who have suffered serious injuries as a result of accidents at work, in public places and in road traffic accidents.

Emma’s expertise also includes complex medical negligence cases. She, like the rest of the team, is experienced in acting for children as well as adults injured in accidents.

Emma is a member of The Association Of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL) and is also a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme which verifies a member’s expertise and recognises their accomplishment in the area of personal injury law.

When not practicing law Emma enjoys walking her very large dog.

 

 

Simon Baskind

sbtitledSimon is our Managing Director and also heads up the Personal Injury Department.  He is a member of the Serious Injury Team, having acted for injured clients since being admitted as a solicitor in 1981.

Simon was appointed a member of the Law Society’s Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme in 1994 in recognition of his expertise in this area and now specialises in high value claims.

When not practising law Simon enjoys wine and playing the drums.

Simon is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL).

 

 

 

Mike Massen

mikenamedMike Massen is an experienced solicitor having qualified in 1992. He has dealt with personal injury matters through his career and has developed specialist knowledge in relation to needlestick claims focussing on the psychological damage and trauma that can result from the potential infection from blood borne virus.

In addition Mike has a growing reputation as a leading solicitor in the area of rape and sexual assault matters. He is regularly called upon the comment on matters related to this area and has been quoted in a number of local and national newspapers and websites.

When not practicing law Mike plays guitar and brews his own beer; he is not very good at either.
