End the same roof rule for victims of historic abuse

The Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority regulations state that if the abuse took place before 1st October 1979 and the victim lived in the same house as the attacker then no claim can be made.
This is the case even if the applicant was a child who was being abused by a parent.
This rule is wrong and prevents the victims of historic abuse from making a claim – please sign this petition to seek to have this regulation removed, thank you.
