There have been further issues with services provided by the NHS when it came to light that 515 children, vaccinated at the Brierley Medical Centre, between January 2009 and June 2014, will have to have further vaccinations due to those given already may not be as effective as they should be due to being stored at an incorrect temperature
It must be stressed that the vaccinations were not harmful just less effective hence the need for the vaccinations to be carried out again.
NHS England have said that a total of 515 children, vaccinated at the practice between January 2009 and June 2014 may have been affected.
The inoculations were in relation:
- meningitis
- measles
- mumps
- polio
- rubella
- whooping cough
